Hello everyone! Welcome to my monthly jazz live schedule announcement, where I share upcoming Tokyo jazz performances on the 20th of each month.
As we move into late October in Tokyo, the number of people wearing short sleeves has dramatically decreased, and the morning and evening chill reminds us that autumn is deepening.
During this season, melodies like “Autumn Leaves” and “Days of Wine and Roses” naturally come to mind.
In November, we have two distinctly different Tokyo jazz live shows prepared for you.

November 9th (Saturday) at JESSE JAMES Tachikawa
This is the guitar and vocal duo performance that receives excellent feedback every time.
Centered around bossa nova and classic Japanese songs from the 1970s, interwoven with familiar jazz standards, we’ll color your relaxed weekend evening with soothing melodies.
At these performances, we’re blessed with wonderful gifts from our audience!
Some guests sketch us during the show and present their artwork, while others bring handmade items—these gestures always warm our hearts.
Enjoy live Tokyo jazz music at Jesse James, a renowned Tachikawa establishment where you can fully satisfy your appetite for both drinks and food.

A cozy jazz bar located 3-4 minutes on foot from Akebonobashi Station on the Shinjuku Line.
November’s Tokyo jazz live performance features the theme “Songs of Solitude,” delivering serene and profound standard numbers.
We’ll present a set that touches the heart, perfect for late autumn evenings.
