Tokyo is now in late September. There’s a gentle coolness in the morning and evening breeze, and the sweet fragrance of osmanthus flowers drifts softly through the streets. Looking up at the night sky, the stars shine clearly in the crisp air—I can feel autumn deepening around us. Recently, I’ve been humming “Autumn Leaves” and “The Things We Did Last Summer” while sensing these seasonal changes.
