Live Jazz in Tokyo: Schedule and Venues for My Upcoming Performances

Hello everyone!
This is a regular article on the 15th of every month to bring you information on next month’s jazz concerts.

In Tokyo, there are still some days in June when I find it hard to let go of my jacket. The weather, which often changes from sunny to rainy, reminds me of the song “What A Difference A Day Made”.

I have three jazz concerts scheduled for the second half of June, and I plan to sing songs about the beautiful change of seasons and scenery, including songs about rain.

In July, I will be playing two more energetic concerts that take advantage of the season!

Wednesday, July 9th 2025 at JAZZ BAR FILL IN in Shinjuku

A special live concert will be held next month at FILL IN, a jazz bar just a short walk from Akebonobashi station on the Shinjuku Line that has been running for more than 20 years, offering three sets full of vocal jazz charm!

I am looking forward to seeing you on the second Wednesday of the month in July!
This month’s concert is titled “Blue Sky” and will feature many songs that remind us of the summer sky.

I will also be singing many Bossa Nova standards since it is summer!

Please enjoy a luxurious live performance in a jazz bar with a great atmosphere, along with food, snacks, and delicious drinks.
We will be performing three sets of jazz standards and bossa nova standards.

Monday (national holiday), July 21st, 2025 at JESSE JAMES Tachikawa

This year on Marine Day, I will be singing jazz standards with a wonderful organ trio at the traditional jazz club Jesse James in Tachikawa, Tokyo!

Jesse James is located on the north side of Tachikawa Station, across from Don Quijote, and is easily accessible on foot.
It is located in the basement, but there is an elevator to allow wheelchair users to enter the venue with ease.

The venue’s powerful sound, sizzling steaks, and wide selection of alcoholic beverages make it a lovely place to eat!
